أعلنت الهيئة العامة للنقل عن اعتماد تمديد العمر التشغيلي للمركبات المستخدمة في أنشطة النقل بسيارات الأجرة وتأجير السيارات الخاصة، التي ينتهي عمرها التشغيلي بنهاية هذا العام 2026م، وذلك إلى نهاية شهر يونيو من العام القادم (30 / 06 / 2027)؛ في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز مرونة التشغيل في هذه الأنشطة، ودعم استمرارية تقديم الخدمات وتمكين المنشآت من الاستفادة من مركباتها لفترة إضافية.
وأوضحت الهيئة أن القرار يمنح المنشآت العاملة في الأنشطة المشمولة فترة إضافية تصل إلى 6 أشهر للاستفادة من مركباتها التي بلغت الحد الأقصى للعمر التشغيلي، بما يُسهم في رفع كفاءة الاستفادة من الأصول التشغيلية، وتخفيف الأعباء المرتبطة بإحلال المركبات، مع المحافظة على متطلبات السلامة وجودة الخدمات المقدمة للمستفيدين.
وأكدت الهيئة أن القرار يأتي ضمن جهودها المستمرة لتطوير البيئة التنظيمية لأنشطة النقل، وتعزيز كفاءة التشغيل واستدامة الخدمات، بما يواكب احتياجات القطاع ويدعم نموه المستدام.
The General Transport Authority announced the approval of extending the operational lifespan of vehicles used in taxi services and private car rentals, whose operational lifespan ends by the end of this year 2026, until the end of June of the following year (30 / 06 / 2027); in a step aimed at enhancing operational flexibility in these activities, supporting the continuity of service provision, and enabling establishments to benefit from their vehicles for an additional period.
The Authority clarified that the decision grants establishments operating in the covered activities an additional period of up to 6 months to benefit from their vehicles that have reached the maximum operational age, which contributes to improving the efficiency of utilizing operational assets and alleviating the burdens associated with vehicle replacement, while maintaining safety requirements and the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
The Authority emphasized that the decision is part of its ongoing efforts to develop the regulatory environment for transport activities, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure the sustainability of services, in line with the needs of the sector and to support its sustainable growth.
