أكد إماما وخطيبا المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي، اليوم، أهمية تقوى الله وتعظيم أوامره ونواهيه، والتمسك بالقيم الإيمانية التي تزكي القلوب وتعين المسلم على مواجهة الابتلاءات والصبر عليها.
وأوضح إمام وخطيب المسجد الحرام الشيخ الدكتور أسامة بن عبدالله خياط أن صلاح القلب واستقامته أساس صلاح الإنسان كله، مبينًا أن أعظم نعيم الدنيا يتمثل في معرفة الله تعالى ومحبته، وأن القلب لا ينال الطمأنينة والفلاح إلا بالإخلاص لله وتقديم محبته على سائر المحاب، مع تعظيم أوامره واجتناب نواهيه.
وأشار إلى أن الانقياد لله تعالى واتباع شرعه لا يتحققان إلا بتعظيم الأمر والنهي، مؤكدًا أن ذلك سبيل نيل الإيمان الصادق وصحة العقيدة والبعد عن الشرك.
وفي المسجد النبوي، استعرض إمام وخطيب المسجد النبوي الشيخ الدكتور عبدالباري بن عواض الثبيتي الدروس الإيمانية والتربوية المستفادة من قصة نبي الله يوسف عليه السلام، من خلال المواقف التي ارتبطت بقميصه، وما تحمله من معانٍ في الصبر والعفة والعفو واليقين بلطف الله تعالى وحسن تدبيره.
وبيّن أن القصة تؤكد أهمية حفظ النعم والحذر من الحسد، والتثبت من الأخبار وعدم التسرع في الأحكام، فضلًا عن الثقة بأقدار الله وعدم اليأس من رحمته، مشيرًا إلى أن المحن قد تكون طريقًا إلى الفرج والتمكين.
كما أكد أن موقف يوسف عليه السلام من الفتنة يجسد حقيقة التقوى ومجاهدة النفس، فيما يمثل عفوه عن إخوته نموذجًا رفيعًا للتسامح والعفو عند المقدرة، داعيًا إلى التأمل في معاني الصبر وحسن الظن بالله، والثقة بلطفه سبحانه في جميع الأحوال.
واختُتمت الخطبتان بالدعاء بأن يحفظ الله المملكة ويديم عليها الأمن والاستقرار، وأن يعز الإسلام والمسلمين ويعم الخير والرخاء بلاد المسلمين كافة.
The Imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque emphasized today the importance of fearing God, honoring His commands and prohibitions, and adhering to the faith-based values that purify hearts and help Muslims face trials and be patient with them.
Sheikh Dr. Osama bin Abdullah Al-Khayyat, the Imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque, explained that the righteousness and uprightness of the heart are the foundation of a person’s overall goodness. He pointed out that the greatest bliss in this world is found in knowing and loving God Almighty, and that the heart can only attain tranquility and success through sincerity to God and prioritizing His love above all other loves, while honoring His commands and avoiding His prohibitions.
He indicated that submission to God Almighty and following His law can only be achieved by honoring His commands and prohibitions, affirming that this is the path to attaining true faith, sound belief, and distancing oneself from polytheism.
In the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Bari bin Awad Al-Thubaiti, the Imam and preacher of the Prophet’s Mosque, reviewed the spiritual and educational lessons derived from the story of Prophet Joseph (peace be upon him), through the events related to his shirt, which carry meanings of patience, chastity, forgiveness, and certainty in God’s kindness and good planning.
He clarified that the story emphasizes the importance of preserving blessings, being cautious of envy, verifying news, and not rushing to judgments, in addition to trusting in God’s decrees and not losing hope in His mercy, noting that trials may be a path to relief and empowerment.
He also affirmed that Joseph’s (peace be upon him) stance in the face of temptation embodies the essence of piety and self-discipline, while his forgiveness of his brothers represents a noble example of tolerance and forgiveness when one has the power to retaliate. He called for reflection on the meanings of patience, having good thoughts about God, and trusting in His kindness in all circumstances.
The two sermons concluded with a prayer for God to protect the Kingdom, maintain its security and stability, and to honor Islam and Muslims, spreading goodness and prosperity throughout all Muslim lands.
